“Sovereign” child, apathetic adolescents, kidult, young adult, “unresolved” adult, forms of “pseudo-integrity” of the elderly are some expressions that show phenomena that are radically changing, along with the identity of the family, times of growth of the different generations, and the sense of belonging to a historical community. Profound transformations involved in the transitions of the family life cycle are also visible in the disappearance of some phases of family growth in favor of others.
